SVSU Women's Swimming & Diving Carries Solid Marks into Weekend Competition

UNIVERSITY CENTER - Off to a 5-0 start to begin its inaugural 2014-15 season in the pool, the Saginaw Valley State University carries some solid rankings and times heading into this weekend's home double dual meet against Alma College and Calvin College.

SVSU is ranked #44 in all of NCAA Division II by collegeswimming.com after its great start with 247.11 points.

The Lady Cardinals had seven different individual times that rank inside the top-10 for GLIAC student-athletes and 13 that rank in the top-15.  They have seven different top-50 marks nationally as well, including Rebeca Martinez's 13th-best time in the 200 Individual Medley.

Saginaw Valley hosts Alma College and Calvin College in a double dual meet on Saturday (11/1) at 1:00 pm in the Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center on the campus of SVSU.
