Molly Vanderhoff named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-North/Central Region Team

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- SVSU junior midfielder Molly Vanderhoff has been named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's Scholar All-North/Central Region Team following her performance on the field and in the classroom this season.

Vanderhoff, the native of Sterling Heights, Michigan, was named to the All-North/Central Region First Team at the midfielder position. She carries a 3.71 cumulative GPA as a kinesiology major at Saginaw Valley State University.  

Molly was named to the All-GLIAC First Team this season for the second straight year. She earned All-Midwest Region plaudits for the second straight season as well, tallying a team-high 26 points with nine goals and eight assists. Vanderhoff helped lead the Cardinals to the third NCAA Division II postseason appearance in program history this year, bowing-out in the first round. 

As a first team honoree, Vanderhoff was advanced to the all-american ballot, which will be announced later today (Dec. 10).
