FINDLAY, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer team tied the University of Findlay 0-0 in double overtime today (Sept. 18).

The goaltending tandum of Laura Ivezaj (Rochester Hills, MIch.) and Nicki Bowers (Shelby Twp., Mich./Henry Ford II HS) stopped all eight shots the Oilers placed on goal in the contest. Freshman Olivia Perrin (Cadillac, Mich.) put two of her three shots on goal had, while freshman Katie Moss (Plymouth, Mich.) added two shots on goal for the Cardinals.

With the tie the Cardinals move to 2-3-1 overall on the season, and 1-3-1in the GLIAC, while Findlay moves to 2-4-1 overall on the season, and 2-2-1 in the GLIAC. Saginaw Valley will be back in action on Friday (Sept. 23) when they return home to play Northern Michigan. Game time is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
