Women's Golf leads by two strokes after round one at Bulldog Fall Invitational

BIG RAPIDS -- The Cardinal Women's Golf team holds a two stroke lead after the first round at the 2019 Ferris State Bulldog Fall Invitational. SVSU shot an opening round score of 311 on the Par 72, 5,802 yard layout at the Katke Golf Course.

Saginaw Valley leads by two strokes over host team Ferris State University, which shot an opening score of 313 on Saturday. Sabrina Coffman fired a first round score of 71 as well and holds a one shot lead over Ferris's Destiny Lawson. 

Scores

  • Sabrina Coffman shot a 71 (-1) in the opening round and holds the one shot lead individually.
  • Emily Barker is fourth overall after posting a 75 (+3) in Saturday action.
  • Keegan Miller carded a score of 82 (+10) and is tied for 16th overall
  • Alexa Marston and Emily O'Brien added rounds of 83 (+11) and sit in a tie for 19th overall 
  • Olivia Pumford competed as an individual and is tied for 39th after her score of 88.
