SVSU Women's Golf Sits 7th after first round at Cumberland Trail Classic

PATASKALA, Ohio -- The SVSU Women's Golf Team sits in a tie for seventh place after 18 holes at the 2019 Cumberland Trail Classic, hosted by Ohio Dominican at the Cumberland Trail Golf Club in Pataskala, Ohio. 

The Cardinals shot a first round score of 315, which is four strokes behind sixth place Malone University. Tiffin University leads after a day one score of 292, staying four strokes ahead of Ferris State. 

Sabrina Coffman had the low round on Saturday, turning in a four-over score of 76 to sit in a tie for 15th place overall. 

Keegan Miller had a 78 (+6) and is in a tie for 22nd place overall while Olivia Pumford is in a tie for 34th after an opening round 80. 

Alexa Marston capped-off the scoring with an 81 while Emily Barker shot an 83 on Saturday. 

Up Next...

The Cardinals will play in the second and final round of the tournament on Sunday, which will feature a 9:00 a.m. shotgun from Ohio.
