Coffman fires second round 70 to earn all-tournament honors at SVSU Fall Invitational

BAY CITY -- The Cardinal Women's Golf team got a record performance from junior Sabrina Coffman on Sunday morning, as she fired a final round score of 70 (-2) to finish fourth overall at the 2019 SVSU Fall Invitational. 

Coffman's round is a single round program record for the Cardinals, who finished in fifth place with scores of 318-317. It's just the second score of under par in the program's fourth year of existence. She bounced back nicely from an opening round 82 to finish with an eight-over total of 152. Ferris State won the tournament with a team score of 610, six strokes clear of Lake Superior State. 

Emily Barker had scores of 79-81 to finish tied for 27th place in the event. Alexa Marston shot 78-85 and tied for 31st. Emily O'Brien tied for 31st as well after carding scores of 79-84. Shelbe Cahill had rounds of 86-82 in the tourney, finishing 43rd overall.

Keegan Miller tied for 16th for the Cardinals' 'B' team and had scores of 82-74. Olivia Pumford shot 79-78 and tied for 20th overall. Katie Boyd shot scores of 82-85 and Courtney Nunneley had rounds of 93-89.
