Women's Golf finishes 11th at William Beall Fall Classic

Findlay, Ohio -- The SVSU Women's Golf team finished in 11th place overall at the 2018 William Beall Fall Classic, hosted by the University of Findlay at the Findlay Country Club. The Cardinals followed up an opening round of 319 with a 337 on Monday, finishing in the 11th slot.

Saginaw Valley ended up five strokes behind 10th-place Ferris State. Missouri-St. Louis won the tournament with a score of 598 - five strokes clear of runner-up GVSU.

Alexa Marston was the low player for the second straight day, shooting an 81 on Monday. Her rounds of 78-81 put her in a tie for 27th place finish overall. 

Annika Neumann and Emily Barker each carded an 84 in round two. Neumann (80-84) finished tied for 46th while Barker (82-84) was tied for 52nd place.

Keegan Miller had a second round 88, tying her for 78th overall with rounds of 88-88. Katie Boyd followed up an opening 79 with an 89 on Monday to finish in a tie for 56th place.

SVSU rounds-out the fall season with a tournament at the Kentucky Wesleyan Regional Preview. It will be played at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky.
