BAY CITY -- The Cardinal Women's Golf team posted a seventh place finish at the 2018 SVSU Fall Invitational, hosted by SVSU at the Saginaw Valley Public Golf Course.
Saginaw Valley had rounds of 317-327, finishing five strokes behind 6th place Ferris State. Northern Michigan won the event with a two-day total score of 608, claiming an 18-stroke victory over Wayne State and McKendree.
Alexa Marston finished as the low golfer for the Cardinals, shooting rounds of 77-79 for the 156 total (+12).
Katie Boyd and Annika Neumann each tied for 28th, shooting rounds of 80-83 and 79-84, respectively.
Emily Barker finished tied for 31st with scores of 81-83 while Kaitlyn Morrissey tied for 39th with rounds of 85-82.
Payton Steinhaus was competing as an individual, tying for 39th with scores of 84-83.
