FINDLAY -- Competing in the second and final round of the 2017 Findlay Beall Fall Classic, the SVSU Women's golfers finished in 8th place overall at the event. The Lady Cardinals shaved one stroke off of yesterday's score, finishing with rounds of 321-320, seven strokes behind 7th place Northwood with a 641 total.
The University of Indianapolis closed out for the victory, carrying a first round lead into Monday and finishing eight strokes ahead of Missouri-St. Louis.
Shelbe Cahill had the low round for SVSU on Monday, posting a 78 for the Cards. Sabrina Coffman had a 79 and was the top overall finisher, tying for 12th place. Alexa Marston (80) and Lucy Cornwell (83) rounded-out the team's scoring while Annika Neumann shot a second round 86.
