Women's Golf tied for 8th at GLIAC Championships

NASHPORT, Ohio - The SVSU women's golf team sits in a tie for sixth place after second round play in the 2017 GLIAC Championships. The tournament is being played at The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

The Cardinals have scores of 332-348, putting them two shots behind seventh place Tiffin. Findlay is in the lead with a total score of 612.

Emily Barker had the low score for the Cards on Saturday, finishing with her 85. The sits tied for 43rd overall, posting scores of 90, 85 (175, +31).

Shelbe Cahill followed-up Friday's program record score of 76 with an 86 Saturday. She now has a 162 (+18) and is in 15th place.

Sabrina Colffman registered an 88 on Saturday and is tied for 43rd with Barker with her total score of 175. 

Alexa Marston had an 89 in round two, as did Katie Boyd. Marston is tied for 34th overall with her score of 171 (+27) and Boyd is tied for 46th with her 176 (+32).
