Lady Cards 10th after opening day of NC4K Classic

BLACKLICK, Ohio - The SVSU women's golf team sits in 10th place overall following the opening day of the NC4K Classic, hosted by Ohio Dominican at the Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio. 

The Lady Cardinals shot a first round score of 336, a single stroke behind ninth place Gannon. The University of Indianapolis leads the tournament after 18 holes with a score of 294. 

Emily Barker had the low round for SV, as she fired a score of 79 (+7) and is in a tie for 18th overall. Alexa Marston is tied for 31st after her opening score of 81 (+9). Sabrina Coffman registered a 86 (+14) while Katie Boyd posted a 90 (+18) to round-out the team's scoring on day one. Shelbe Cahill also competed, notching an opening score of 91 (+19).

The Cardinals are back at it on Monday in second round action, with tee-off beginning at 9:30 a.m. You can follow with live scoring here.
