Barker Cards 77 on Day Two of Beall Fall Classic

FINDLAY, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University women's golfers rounded-out their fall slate of tournaments by finishing in 13th place at the Beall Fall Classic, hosted by the University of Findlay at the Findlay Country Club.

The Lady Cardinals finished with scores of 346-335, 681 to end up a stroke behind Walsh University. Missouri-St. Louis claimed the title in the tournament with a two day total of 616.

Emily Barker notched a second round score of 77, leading the team at finishing with a 160 (+16) after her first round of 83. She tied for 19th place overall and the 77 ties for the lowest so far in the program's young history.

Shelbe Cahill posted an 84 on day two and finished tied for 71st with a 179 (95-84). Katie Boyd had an 86 on Monday and was tied for 76th with scores of 98-86, 184. 

Sabrina Coffman (82-92) and Alexa Marston (86-88) both tied for 61st overall after finishing with two round totals of 174. 

This wraps-up fall competition for the ladies, who are back in action come spring time on March 18-19 at the SVSU Spring Invitational in Georgetown, Kentucky.
