SVSU Women's Basketball "Get to Know" - Laurel Jacqmain

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – This edition of Women's Basketball "Get to Know" spotlight for the 2016-2017 season will highlight freshman guard, Laurel Jacqmain. Laurel joins the Cardinals this season after a standout high school career at Saginaw Nouvel Catholic High.

Below are a few comments from Head Coach, Jamie Pewinski, about Laurel Jacqmain:

"Due to some depth at her position this year, the decision was made to redshirt Laurel. She is taking advantage of the year by getting stronger and studying the college game, which is only going to help her throughout her career. We are very excited to see the growth Laurel has shown in practice and really look forward to the career she is going to have as a Cardinal" – Coach Pewinski

Here is what Laurel has to say about her time at Saginaw Valley State University:

"My time here at SVSU has already been filled with many memories and has given me many opportunities to succeed. It's great to play everyday for such a great program and with great teammates.  I'm excited for the years to come as a Cardinal!"
