The Lady Cardinals (20-7, 17-5 GLIAC) will host No. 7 seed Northwood University (17-11, 13-9 GLIAC) in the first round quarterfinal matchup, set for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday (Mar. 1) at SVSU's James E. O'Neill Jr. Arena. SVSU has claimed both matchups with the Timberwolves this season and the season's third meeting should be a good one.

The last victory for the Cards in the annual league postseason tournament came during the 1996-97 season.
