SVSU Women's Basketball "Get to Know" - Tori Lennartz

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – This month's Women's Basketball "Get to Know" spotlight is of freshman forward, Tori Lennartz. Tori comes to the Cardinals from Fort Recovery, Ohio after a standout high school career at Fort Recovery High School.

Below are a few comments from Head Coach, Jamie Pewinski, about Tori Lennartz:

"Tori is going to be one of the players we use to fill the shoes of Sam Zirzow.  Tori has played everything from point guard to post for Fort Recovery and we love the versatility that she brings. She has done a great job in this first month of practice to learn our system and we can already see how that versatility is going be a huge asset for us!  We are excited to see how Tori will progress throughout the year." – Coach Pewinski

Here is what Tori had to say about her first month on campus as a student-athlete:

"The past month has been a huge learning experience for me! Learning to live on my own without my family has definitely been a challenge, but my basketball family has helped me a lot! I have learned so much on and off the basketball court and I'm looking forward to the future!"
