ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's basketball dropped a road contest at Grand Valley State University tonight (Jan. 24) by a score of 74-48.

Meijer 'Player of the Game' Paige Wright (Fort Wayne, Ind. / Northrop HS), in her first career start, answered a Grand Valley triple with a three of her own as both teams opened their scoring with shots from beyond the arc just one minute into the contest.
