PUEBLO, Colo. – Saginaw Valley State University high jumpers Xavier Santiago and Sawyer Moloy competed at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on Saturday.
Santiago cleared the bar at 2.02m on his second attempt but failed to clear the bar at 2.07m to finish 20th.
Moloy entered at 2.07m and was unsuccessful on his three attempts.
Santiago finishes his debut season as the GLIAC Outdoor high jump champion. Moloy broke the SVSU outdoor record in the high jump and was ranked second in the country with that height.
