From Head Coach Bruce Zimmerman
"Even though we were not victorious, it was a pretty good meet for us. We raced tough and had some good performances. On the women's side, Sydney Shipps had a standout meet winning 3 individual events. Lydia Mattar and Amanda Thielen had one win each against a very good Wayne State team. Our focus now will be on next weekends meet against Hillsdale and Ashland. This is our last tune up before the GLIAC Championships the end of February so we want to be sharp and very competitive for this final dual meet of the season."
Up Next...
The Cardinals are back in action Saturday (Jan. 19) against Ashland's Men's & Women's teams and the Hillsdale women. The meet will be hosted at Hillsdale College and is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
