CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Saginaw Valley State University Swimming & Diving teams traveled to begin the weekend at the Wabash College Invitational. The Cardinals sit in second place on both sides through eight events overall.
The men's squad posted 539.5 points while the women registered 439.5 points. Birmingham-Southern College sits in first place overall for the men and women. Saginaw Valley had many top finishes in the A Finals to lead the stellar scores in the opening day.

- 500 Freestyle - 4th & 5th Place | Jayden Hutchinson (4:41.74) and Pedro Rezende (4:42.01)
- 500 Freestyle - 8th Place | Peter Lin - 4:44.20
- 200 IM - 9th Place | Connor Henning - 1:59.61
- 50 Freestyle - 9th Place | Dylan Kopacki - 21.81; 10th Place | Michael Spears - 21.97
