GLIAC -- Freshman outfielder Jackie Popko has been named the GLIAC Player of the Week after her performance for the Cardinals in games against Ferris State and Grand Valley State. 

Popko hit .643 (9-of-14) with three home runs and 11 RBI during last week's games against Grand Valley State and Ferris State. She slugged 1.286 in the four road contests and is now hitting .359 on the season with seven home runs.

The Cardinals play at Northwood on Monday before hosting Davenport on Tuesday, Purdue Northwest, Pakside and Wayne State over the weekend at the SVSU Softball Complex.
