LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Five Saginaw Valley State University softball student-athletes garnered NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for their performances in the classroom during the 2016-17 season. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.5 grade-point average, or higher, for the academic year.
The following student-athletes were honored from the Cardinal Softball team...
- Danielle Hamilton - 3.65 GPA
- Anna Conard - 3.63 GPA
- Kasey Bagelmann - 3.68 GPA
- Courtney Reeves - 3.55 GPA
- Sam Stosiak - 3.58 GPA
The Cardinals capped-off a fantastic 2017 spring season with an appearance in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional #2 Finals, adding that to their GLIAC Tournament Championship. The 2018 season will get underway Friday, Feb. 23 at the Midwest Region Crossover in Evansville, Indiana.
