STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Saginaw Valley State University softball team jumped five spots to #9 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Poll. The Cardinals swept their six contests last week, downing Ferris State University in a doubleheader on Wednesday with scores of 2-0 and 4-1, the University of Findlay on Friday with scores of 8-0, and 10-0 and Hillsdale College on Saturday with scores of 13-3, and 9-2 The undefeated week moves the Cardinals to 19-2 overall on the 2010 campaign and 6-0 in the GLIAC.
SVSU will take on Tiffin University at home on Saturday (Apr. 10) in a doubleheader schduled for 1:00pm
