Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Benzie Central High School…a member of the cross country and track teams…was a state qualifier in track al four years and also a member of a four time regional championship team…helped lead his team to top ten rankings for four years…named all-region three times, all-conference two times, all-area one time, and in his senior campaign was named all-state…helped his team to two conference championships…named most improved and received the coaches choice award…was team captain for two years and named team MVP in his junior year…was a  member of Down Under Sports Program for one year where he took 17th overall in the International race and 10th in his age group in the all-American race...he was also the third runner for team Michigan…ran in the Footlocker race in Wisconsin for two years…a member of honor roll and Key Club…received an academic letter for band…named Academic All-Sate twice…majoring in Law Enforcement…son of Robert and Sharlene Patterson…born 08/25/90.
