Bott Competes in Hammer Throw at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's and women's track and field teams had two athletes compete in day two of the 54th Annual Mt. SAC Relays.  

Brian Bott (Buckley, Mich./Kingsley HS) and Alycia Wright (Macomb, Mich./Lutheran North HS) were the two lone Cardinal athletes to compete in this elite meet.  Bott competed in the hammer throw competition and earned a third place finish in his heat and a 21st place finish overall with a toss of 55.51 meters.  Wright competed in the 800-meter run and clocked in with a final time of 2:14.66 which was good for an 11th place finish in her heat and a 70th place finish overall.

With the conclusion of day two of the Mt. SAC Relays the Cardinals begin their long journey back to Michigan and look to compete again next weekend (4/28-29) in the Hillsdale College hosted Gina Relays.
