2010-11: Indoor: competed in the 800-meter run at the SVSU vs. GVSU Dual and earned a season best of 2:09.48...ran the mile at the SVSU Doug Hanson Open and the SVSU Indoor Classic and recorded times of 5:02.69 and 5:00.94, respectively...recorded a season best in the mile at the SVSU Cardinal and crossed the line at 4:58.95.  Outdoor: redshirted the outdoor season.

2009-10: Indoor: ran the 800-meter at the SVSU Holiday Classic and the SVSU Doug Hanson Open and clocked in at 2:09.11 and 2:11.64, respectively...participated in the 600-meter run at the GVSU Early Bird Invitational and timed in at 1:31.52...ran the mile at the SVSU Indoor Classic and finished with a time of 5:01.53.  Outdoor: ran the 5,000-meter at the FSU Bulldog Invitational and crossed the line at 18:25.44.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Pine River High School...participated in soccer, wrestling, and track and field...earned a total of eight varsity letters...was the captain of the soccer and wrestling teams senior year...was an all-conference honorable mention for soccer...helped lead the wrestling team to two regional championships, three district championships, and the elite eight twice...was an individual district medalist and regional qualifier...was a member of the two time conference champion 4x400-meter relay team and the second place 4x800-meter relay team...placed second in the conference in the 400-meter run...was on the honor roll and received the Pine River Scholar-Athlete Award all four years...named Validictorian and was a member of the National Honors Society...recipiant of the MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award...majoring in mechanical engineering...son of Roger and Vicki Rush...born 06/27/91.
