GLIAC -- Saginaw Valley State University sophomore midfielder Alex Gloshen has been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Cardinals to road victories over Purdue Northwest and Davenport.
Gloshen led the Cardinals to a 2-0 mark this past weekend, defeating Purdue Northwest and Davenport on the road in GLIAC action. Gloshen had a goal and assist in the team's 2-1 win over the Pride on Friday before dishing-out a helper in Sunday's 4-1 win at Davenport.
The Cardinals return home for a pair of matches this weekend, hosting Northwood Friday (Sep. 28) at 2:30 p.m. before facing Northern Michigan Sunday at 2:30 p.m. as well.
