#22 Cardinals fall at home to Parkside, 1-0

UNIVERSITY CENTER -- The Cardinal Men's Soccer team hosted the Parkside Rangers in the 2018 GLIAC season opener on Friday (Sep. 14) afternoon at Braddock Field. Despite firing 25 shots with eight of those on goal, SVSU couldn't find the back of the net and would fall by a narrow 1-0 count.

The first half saw the Cards shoot 14 times and hold the Rangers to four. The second half edge went 11-2 to SV as well, but the only score of the game came when Parkside's Henry Bruer headed one in the net off a Leki Prpa free-kick.
