PONTIAC, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer student-athlete Troy Watson, who just completed his senior season for the Cardinals, has been selected to compete in the first Midwest Pro Soccer Combine. The combine is slated to take place December 19-20 at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac, Michigan. 

Watson, a two-time First Team All-GLIAC and All-Midwest Region performer at the midfielder position, will display his skills during three, 80-minute matches that will be viewed by professional coaches, scouts and agents. Every professional club in North America (MLS, NASL, USL) has been invited to the event, along with a handful of international clubs. 

Troy plays for the club team Detroit City FC as well, which is a member of the National Premier Soccer League in the Great Lakes Region. Click here to view their website.
