COLUMBUS, Ohio - The SVSU men's soccer team fell in a GLIAC men's soccer contest on the road to the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Friday (Oct. 14) evening in Columbus. The Panthers scored two second half goals against the short-handed Cardinals to secure the win.
After a scoreless first period where both teams recorded six shots, Ohio Dominican would take a 1-0 edge at the 74:53 point of the second when Shane Facemeyer beat the goalkeeper for the lead after the ball deflected off a Cardinal defender. The home squad would push the lead out to 2-0 when Tanner Ebright scored at the 88:09 point on a rebound off a save.
That score held true until the clock struck zeros, as ODU completed the victory.
