TIFFIN, Ohio – The Saginaw Valley State University men’s soccer team fell to Tiffin University 3-0 this afternoon (Sept. 18) in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup.

The Cardinals held Tiffin scoreless until the 15th minute of the game when Tiffin was able to find the back of the net to go up 1-0. Tiffin would then add another goal to make the score 2-0 in the 24th minute. The Dragons would add a third goal in the second half to make the final score 3-0.

With the loss Saginaw Valley falls to 1-4-2 overall on the season and the Griffins advance to 6-1 overall on the season. The Cardinals continue play Sunday (Sept. 20) at the University of Findlay at 2:30pm.
