UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University men’s soccer team lost today (Sept. 4) to John Carroll College by a score of 5-0.

Andrew Burgeson (Shelby Township, Mich. / Utica Eisenhower HS) was the lone Cardinal bright spot on offense, while Piotr Kazmierczak took the loss in goal, allowing four goals.

With the loss the Cardinals fall to 0-2-1 on the season, while John Carroll improves to 2-0-0 on the season. The Cardinals will return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 8) at 5:30 PM, when they host St. Francis (Ind.).
