Men’s Soccer Flounders in GLIAC Finals

ASHLAND, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University men’s soccer team couldn’t overcome losing two of their top players to pull out a victory in the GLIAC Finals against Tiffin University today (Nov. 8). The Cardinals lost the match 4-2.

In SVSU’s win against top-seeded Ashland University on Thursday (Nov. 6), senior Brent Walker (Owosso, Mich./Owosso HS) received his fifth yellow card of the season, and senior Daniel Wragg (Kirton Lindsey, England/Delta College) received two yellow cards, so neither could play in the championship match.
