Cardinals Fall to Madonna, 4-0

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - In their final home stance of the season, the Saginaw Valley State University men’s soccer team lost to visiting Madonna University on Wednesday (Oct. 29) 4-0 in a non-GLIAC match up at the SVSU Soccer Complex.

The Cardinals struggled to find their offensive game against the visiting Crusaders. Goalkeeper Luke Deming (Thomas Township, Mich./Freeland HS) made eight saves on the afternoon.

The loss drops SVSU to 6-9-2 overall, and they remain 1-6 in the GLIAC. The Cardinals will return to action Saturday (Nov. 1) as they travel to Northwood University to end the regular season.
