ASHLAND, Ohio - The SVSU mens soccer team advanced to the 2008 GLIAC soccer finals on Saturday after defeating top seeded Ashland by a score of 4-2 today (Nov. 6). The Cardinals will face the winner of the Tiffin/Northwood game later this evening.

The Cardinals began practice last week marking the start of the 2008 fall season. SVSU is looking to improve this season on its 11-8 record in 2007, a season in which they set the school record for wins.
