LEXINGTON Ky. – The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team headed back to Lexington this week for the Findlay Spring Invitational. The Cardinals finished tied-seventh overall with Connor Jackacki leading the way.

Jackacki placed T7 overall shooting rounds of 73, 70, 73 for the 54-hole tournament. Brendon Gouin and Ethan Swenson followed with T44 finishes firing off scores of 224. Nick Bailey scored one stroke behind his two teammates and finished T53. Bailey shot rounds of 77, 76, and 72. Jieseung Choi rounded out the scoring for SVSU with a three-round total of 235.

The men's squad will be back in action at Urbana Country Club in Urbana, Ohio for a battle hosted by Ohio Dominican. The event will serve as the last competition before the GLIAC Championships on April 14, 15, and 16.
