CANTON, Ohio – The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team continued the 2022 fall season with two days of competition at the Malone-Glenmoor Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the Glenmoor Country Club.

The Cardinals finished in sixth place with a three-round total score of 882 (289, 296, 297). The event was won by Tiffin University with a total score of 847.

Connor Jakacki and Ethan Swenson led the Cardinals, tying for 14^th individually with each carding a three-round score of 217. Swenson's performance included a 70 in the opening round.

Jiseung Choi finished tied for 23^rd (221), while Michael Zanoni (230) and Nick Bailey (233) closed the event in 59^th and 66^th, respectively.

The Cardinals compete next at the Doc Spragg Invite hosted by the University of Findlay on Sept. 19-20 at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
