LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team earned a 15th place finish at the Findlay Spring Invite on Tuesday afternoon from the UK Big Blue Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky. SVSU finished with a total team score of 895 after three rounds of play. 

Leading the Cardinals was Connor Jakacki in a tie for 20th place. The junior shot a 72 in round one and 73 in round two, before finishing the tournament with a round three 72 and a total score of 217. Behind him was Joey Per in a tie for 44th place with a 222, while Nicklaus Bailey finished tied for 72nd with a total score of 227. Completing the scoring for SVSU was Jiseung Choi in a tie for 78th and posting a 54-hole score of 229. 

Also competing for SVSU was Eddie Murphy in 98th place with a 238. 

SVSU will compete in the Cavalier Classic hosted by Walsh University next Monday from the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio.
