SVSU men finish 16th at Spring Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team concluded the SVSU Spring Invitational on Sunday at the Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky. The Cardinals finished 16th in the team standings with a score of 632 after two rounds. 

SVSU was led by Joey Per in a tie for 37th place, shooting a 73 on Sunday and finishing with a total score of 153. Jiseung Choi finished tied for 61st with a total score of 157. In a tie for 81st place was Connor Jakacki with a 160, while Nicklaus Bailey completed the scoring for the Cardinals in a tie for 100th place with a score of 163. 

Also competing for the Cardinals was Eddie Murphy in a tie for 97th place with a 162, and Parker Dietzel in 114th place with a score of 171. 

SVSU will compete in the Findlay Spring Invite beginning next Monday, Mar. 28 at the UK Big Blue Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky.
