GLIAC -- Saginaw Valley State University junior Men's Golf student-athlete Gunnar Stein has been named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Honorable Mention Team for the 2019-20 season.
Stein, who was named the 2019-20 Team MVP, led the way with a stroke average of 74.31 in his 13 rounds and six tournaments. He had a pair of top-10 showings, including a victory at the GLIAC North Championship in Big Rapids. It was his second career victory, adding to his medalist honor at the OVU Highlands Cup Challenge in 2017.
The Cardinals posted four top-five finishes as a team this year, with the best coming in a third place showing at the GLIAC North Championships.
