Men's Golf rounds-out play at Greyhound Invitational

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The Cardinal Men's Golf team rounded-out play on Tuesday in the third and final round of the 2019 Greyhound Invitaional, hosted at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana. 

Saginaw Valley finished in 18th place overall after shooting rounds of 297-296-314, three strokes behind 17th place Northern Michigan. Ferris State won the tourney by 17 strokes over host Indianapolis, shooting an 851 total. 

Dustin Pumford was the low man on the weekend for the Cards, shooting rounds of 70-75-78 and tying for 38th place overall. 

Gunnar Stein tied for 48th place, carding scores of 77-70-78 on the weekend. Brady Dice had scores of 74-76-78 and tied for 60th.

Jared Lyons tied for 73rd with rounds of 76-75-80 to finish the team's scoring for the weekend.

SVSU's next tournament is the 2019 GLIAC Championships, which will be held on Easter weekend April 19-21. This year's championships are being held at the Gull Lake View Golf Club & Resort in Augusta, Michigan.
