SOUTH HAVEN -- The Cardinal Men's Golf team finished in fourth place over the weekend at the HawksHead Golf Invitational, hosted by Wayne State. SVSU shot rounds of 290-300 to finish in the fourth slot only six strokes behind tournament winner, GVSU.
Dustin Pumford and Jared Lyons both tied for 13th place overall to lead the Cardinals. Lyons was the low man on Sunday, posting a score of 73 after his first day 74. Pumford finished with rounds of 71-76.
Brady Dice posted a 74 on day two and Alex Dice followed-up his first day 71 with a 77 to cap-off the day's scoring.
