NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The SVSU Men's Golf team sits in a tie for 3rd place overall after second round action at the Greyhound Invitational, hosted by Indy at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana. The Cardinals followed their first round score of 289 with a 287, moving to even par for the tournament.

SVSU sits just four strokes behind leader UMSL, tied with Indianapolis and Tiffin while GVSU is three behind in second place.

Austin Carter matched his season low score on Monday, firing a four-under round of 68. He leads the tournament by three strokes at seven under par. Ryan Peruski shot a one-under round of 71 on day two, pulling him to a tie for 14th place at +1. Mason Motte shot a one-over 73 and is tied for 40th overall with a +5 total. Jared Lyons finished the scoring for the Cards on the day, carding a 75 (+3). He is tied for 31st place. Dustin Pumford is tied for 44th after following his first round 73 up with a 77.
