FINDLAY, Ohio -- SVSU Men's Golf finished in 10th place at the 2017 University of Findlay Fall Invitational, played this past weekend in Findlay, Ohio. Saginaw Valley shot a two-day total score of 596, posting rounds of 298 on both Sunday and Monday. 

Austin Carter shot even par to lead the Cardinals on day two of competiton, while Ryan Peruski carded a 73. Dustin Pumford had a 76 while Gunnar Stein and Jared Lyons each posted a 77. The University of Indianapolis won the event with a two-over tally of 578, defeating Malone in a sudden death playoff. 

The tournament was played on two different golf courses, with round one action taking place at the Red Hawk Run Golf Course and Monday's action being played at the Findlay Country Club. 

Mason Motte played well as an individual, posting rounds of 71-72 (-1) for a sixth place finish.

Up Next...

The Cardinals travel back to Ohio to participate in the annual Kyle Ryman Memorial, hosted by Tiffin University. The tournament will be played at the Mowhawk Golf & Country Club Saturday (Sep. 30) - Sunday (Oct. 1).
