FINDLAY, Ohio -- The SVSU Men's Golf team headed to Findlay, Ohio to participate in the Findlay Fall Invitational, held at the Red Hawk Run Golf Course. SVSU sits in 10th place after the first 18 holes of play, shooting an opening round score of 298 (+10).
The University of Indianapolis is tied with Malone University as the day one leader, firing a score of 285 (-3).
Scores
- Dustin Pumford shot the low round for the Cards on the day with a score of 73 (+1).
- Gunnar Stein had a 74 (+2) while Ryan Peruski shot a 75 (+3).
- Austin Carter rounded-out the team's scoring with a 76 (+4).
- Jared Lyons shot a 77 (+5) as well in competition.
Individuals
- Mason Motte shot a round of 71 (-1) in round one, marking a season-best for him.
- Alex Dice carded a 74 (+2) playing as an individual for Saginaw Valley as well.
Up Next...
The team will be back in action on Monday morning in day two of the event, which is being played at the same course as the 2018 Super Regionals in early May.
