BATAVIA, Ohio - The SVSU men's golf team competed at the third NCAA Division II Regional Tournament of the season, which was The Jewell at Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio. The Cardinals tied for 14th place overall in the event with a two-day total score of 634.
After an opening day score of 334 for the Cardinals in which the low round for the team was Mason Motte's score of 80, SVSU trimmed that number by 34 strokes on Sunday to finish with a team count of 300 after all SV players shot in the 70's. Ryan Peruski had a 73 to lead the Cards in round two while Dustin Pumford had a 75. Michael Hansen and Motte each fired a 76 on day two to close out the team's scoring. Tommy Prato had a 79 as well competing for the Cards.
