TIFFIN, Ohio - The SVSU men's golf team followed up an opening round score of 319 with a count of 321 on the second day of competition at the Kyle Ryman Memorial, hosted by Tiffin University at the Mohawk Golf & Country Club.
The Cardinals finished 14 strokes behind fourth place University of Findlay (626). Malone University claimed the event with a team score of 597, edging the host Dragons by a single stroke after both teams posted the low total of the day with a 294.
The Lineup
- Ryan Peruski (78-79, 157) tied for 23rd overall with his +13 total. He had the low round both days for SVSU.
- Tommy Prato (81-79, 160) matched Peruski's 79 on day two to lead the team. He finished tied for the 32nd position overall.
- Dustin Pumford (78-80, 158) finished in a tie for 28th place and tied for the low round on day one.
- Steven Kish (82-83, 165) tied for 44th place overall and Luke Nesbitt (85-83, 168) tied for 51st overall.

Saginaw Valley is set to play at the Motor City Invitational on October 18-19, hosted by Wayne State University at the TPC Michigan Golf Course in Dearborn.
