KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the 2020 NABC Coaches' Division II All-District teams and coaches, recognizing the best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes and coaches in the division. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division II, these 88 student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America.
SVSU Men's Basketball sophomore guard Myles Belyeu was named to the All-Midwest Second Team for 2019-20, marking his second regional honor of the season. Belyeu was recently named to the D2CCA All-Midwest Second Team as well. Myles was named All-GLIAC First Team this year too, marking two straight years he has garnered all-league honors to begin his Cardinal career.
Myles led the team and ranked second in the league with his 21.0 ppg scoring average. He ranked first in overall minutes logged and had the most made free throws as well. He averaged 7.3 rpg, ranking him sixth in the GLIAC, and his 82.4% free throw percentage ranked fourth in the league. In all, he had eight double-doubles this season and posted a new career-high of 33 points, which he attained twice.

Located in Kansas City, MO, the NABC was founded in 1927 by Forrest "Phog" Allen, the legendary basketball coach at the University of Kansas. Allen, a student of James Naismith, the inventor of basketball, organized coaches into this collective group to serve as Guardians of the Game. The NABC currently has nearly 5,000 members consisting primarily of university and college men's basketball coaches.
