UNIVERSITY CENTER -- The Saginaw Valley State University Men's Basketball team will host its third annual Alumni Weekend, which is set to take place the weekend of January 25-26, 2019 in conjunction with the Cardinals GLIAC matchup versus Northwood University. Along with that, the Cardinals will host a pair of high school games featuring local high school boys basketball powerhouses Saginaw High and Arthur Hill. 

The Cardinals will welcome back SVSU Alumni for a social on Friday (Jan. 26) night at the SpringHill Suites. They will then get to watch SVSU's shootaround on Saturday morning and an Alumni Game will follow in SVSU's James E. O'Neill Jr. Arena. For the Cardinals' games versus Northwood at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., there will be a special SVSU Basketball Alumni tent area on the O'Neill Arena concourse. 

Later that afternoon, Saginaw Valley will honor two Cardinal Basketball Alumni with a special dedication. Louis O'Neal and Kalen Foreman are two former Cardinals who have impacted the SVSU Men's Basketball Program and SVSU Community with the highest regards. We will be placing banners honoring both alumni players immediately after the men's game versus Northwood.

After the SVSU games versus the Timberwolves, the doors will close and re-open at 5:45 p.m. prior to the games featuring Saginaw Arthur Hill versus Middletown (Ohio) and Saginaw High versus Romulus. The Arthur Hill game will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. while Saginaw High will play at 8:00 p.m.
