IPSWICH, QUEENSLAND -- Former Saginaw Valley State University Men's Basketball student-athlete Garrett Hall has inked a deal with the Ipswich Force team in Australia. The team competes in the Queensland Basketball League and the Force will begin their 2018 season on April 28.

"Congratulations to Garrett and his family on his signing with the Ipswich Force," stated SVSU Head Coach Randy Baruth. "Garrett made stellar contributions and helped our program progress throughout his four years wearing a Cardinal uniform!" 

Hall had a standout career for the Cardinals, scoring 1,579 career points in his time, spanning from the 2013-14 season through the 2016-17 campaign. He connected on 215 three-pointers as well, which stands as the record for the most career triples. Hall was a two-time All-GLIAC Second Team honoree, earning the honor in both the 2014-15 season and the 2015-16 campaign. He helped lead the 2015-16 squad to the GLIAC championship, Midwest Regional championship and trip to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight, which was held in Frisco, Texas.
