Howe HS) connected on a lay-up.  Urbana would respond quickly with a three-point shot under a minute later to take the lead, which they carried into half-time and entered the locker room with a five point lead, 29-24.

The Cardinals would battle back in the second half, bringing the Blue Knight advantage to just two points on a Michael Fugate (White Lake, Mich./Lakeland HS) layup, however could not find the lead as Urbana went onto victory, 71-58.  Fugate would end the night with nine points, two assists and grabbed one rebound

The Cardinals will return to action this Wednesday (2/16) as they travel to Midland, Mich. to take on the Timberwolves of Northwood University in a GLIAC match-up.  Saginaw Valley defeated Northwood earlier in the season, 88-76.  Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
